A little bit of girly heaven!! Nectarina is a great website created by a fellow mum bored of the clothing offered on the high street. It currently stocks dresses, cardigans, and shoes for girls from 0 to 3. Dresses are of a traditional Spanish style, with a real retro feel. Lots of bright colours perfect for sunny days.

The Poppies dress is one of my faves; an a-line sleeveless dress, fully lined with an unusual button detail on the front and a peter pan collar. It’s available from sizes 3-6 months right up to 24-36. It has a real 60’s look. Local Twickenham mum-trepeneur Lola Gonzalez is bringing Spanish style to the UK with her range of traditional girls' dresses a shoes. Think pink and girly, red and stricking, nautical and summery, with retro details like smocking and plain white collars. Lola sources her clothes from a small, family-owned factory near Seville, southern Spain and the shoes are handmade in soft leather. The range is for girls up to six years old.

I bought a dress for my little niece from Nectarina and the service was first class. I contacted them to enquiry about a size, and they got back to me the same day. I received the parcel the day after I ordered it by First Class recorded delivery, and I was very impressed with how carefully it had been wrapped in their signature orange tissue paper and how nicely folded the dress was. The quality of the dress (Regata) exceeded my expectations, and even my sister commented on how much nicer it was on the flesh. The website doesn’t do it justice! What a fantastic website!!! I was tired of searching for beautiful and traditional style dresses for girls in the High Street and the web, and thankfully I came across Nectarina! What a life saver!
